Please read these terms carefully before using our platform
Welcome to Safari Yatri!
These General Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Safari Yatri mobile applications, websites, content, and platform (collectively, the "Platform").
You agree to these Terms by either confirming your acceptance in the Safari Yatri application or by using any part of the Platform.
Safari Yatri is a technology platform that connects independent drivers ("Drivers") and passengers ("Passengers").
Passengers can post ride requests with a proposed fare. Interested Drivers can accept the offered fare. Passengers are free to select any Driver from those who respond.
Once a Passenger confirms a Driver, a separate agreement is formed between the Passenger and the Driver. Safari Yatri does not participate in or influence this agreement.
Safari Yatri does not provide transportation services and is not a party to any contract between Passengers and Drivers.
Safari Yatri charges Drivers a commission fee for completed rides. Drivers must maintain sufficient Safari Balance in order to accept ride requests.
This is a non-withdrawable digital balance managed by Safari Yatri.
Drivers must maintain a positive Safari Balance to accept rides. After a ride is completed, and upon successful OTP confirmation (where both Driver and Passenger share and verify an OTP), Safari Yatri deducts a certain percentage as commission from the Driver's Safari Balance.
To load Safari Balance, Drivers can scan a QR code provided by Safari Yatri or visit our office to deposit funds. After manual verification by an admin, the balance is updated in the Driver's Safari account.
Drivers can request a refund of their unused Safari Balance by contacting Safari Yatri via official channels. Refunds will be processed within 10 working days after verification.
To use the Platform, you must:
Be at least 18 years old (or using the platform under parental guidance).
Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
Initially, all users register as Passengers. Users who wish to become Drivers must:
Submit their citizenship ID, vehicle registration (bill book), selfie, and vehicle number.
Pass manual verification by Safari Yatri admins.
Phone numbers are masked. Communication is enabled only after a ride is accepted.
Users can dial Nepal's official emergency number (100) via a button in the app.
Safari Yatri manually verifies all Drivers to enhance trust and safety.
Despite these efforts, the Platform cannot guarantee the safety or reliability of offline interactions. Users are advised to use personal discretion and caution.
Users must:
Use communication tools within the app only for ride-related purposes.
Avoid harassment or unwanted contact after a ride is completed.
Understand that mobile call charges will apply for out-of-app phone interactions.
Safari Yatri does not record or monitor calls or chat messages.
You agree not to:
Violate any applicable laws.
Impersonate others or create fake accounts.
Attempt to manipulate pricing, matchings, or bypass Platform fees.
Engage in harassment, discrimination, or unsafe behavior.
Safari Yatri reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these rules.
Safari Yatri owns all intellectual property in the Platform, including design, logos, content, and source code. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Platform for personal use.
You may not:
Copy, reverse-engineer, or resell any part of the Platform.

You may also delete your account via the app or by contacting our support team.
We may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted in the app and on our website. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the new Terms.
